1. No more than 20 students may attend a lecture; if this number increases, groups of students will be formed.
2. At least two academic staff members will lead the theory exercises for each group, which will have a maximum of 20 students, with the assistance of two assistant professors.
For each group of no more than 20 students, at least two academic staff members will present the applied exercises, aided by two assistant professors. Alternatively, one academic staff member will present a workshop on each subject’s criteria, as defined by the faculty dean based on departmental council recommendations.
Every year during the summer break, academic staff and their assistants, along with engineers from the Ministry of Electricity and Energy, will supervise the required civil training for at least 6 weeks at the places designated by the faculty administration.
After each summer break, the student submits a detailed report outlining his performance throughout class instruction. An annual exam is then held to discuss the report in October of each year, with the outcome being either an authorized or an unapproved report.
The faculty must accept four civil training periods for the student to receive a bachelor’s degree at the end of the academic year; nevertheless, not doing so won’t prevent him from transferring to the next year.
Failure to approve the summer report does not prevent him from transferring to the following year, but the student does not receive a bachelor’s degree at the end of the academic year unless the faculty approves four 6-week civil training periods.
On the recommendation of the general supervisor of training, the dean may approve student training at civil sites that are not announced by the faculty administration, whether inside or outside Egypt.
