A Quality Assurance and Accreditation Unit was established in 2007 at the Faculty of Energy Engineering in Aswan to foster a culture of quality throughout the institution, encouraging advancements in academic standards and educational opportunities, and assisting in the creation and use of national reference standards that take into account international standards. In collaboration with the National Authority for Accreditation and Quality Assurance, supporting the academic and administrative divisions in creating internal quality assurance systems and building a method to examine the quality assurance system in advance of accreditation.
