Aswan University, upon the request of the Faculty of Energy Engineering Board, awards a Bachelor of Engineering degree under the two-semester system in one of the following disciplines:
Electrical Power Engineering
Mechanical Power Engineering
Production Engineering and Mechanical Design
Power Control Engineering
The degree is granted upon successful completion of the examinations in the academic courses specified in Chapter Three of these regulations.
The distribution of students transferred from the preparatory year to the first year of the various academic programs shall be governed by the following rules:
♦ At the end of the second semester, application forms are distributed to all preparatory-year students wishing to enroll in the faculty’s different programs.
♦ Students advancing to the first year are assigned to academic departments based on their stated preferences, their overall score (the official aggregate of the preparatory year grades), and the enrollment capacity of each department.
♦ The rules for transferring students from one major to another are set by the Department Heads Council and approved by the Faculty Council.
♦ The distribution of students across the academic departments is determined in accordance with the number of faculty members and the resources available in each department, with the percentages subject to the approval of the Faculty Council.
