Within the framework of Aswan University’s mission, the Measurement & Assessment Unit of the faculty seeks to achieve a real measurement for the level of the faculty of energy engineering students, which includes preparing a graduate who meets quality standards and has the ability to compete in the labor market, by contributing to the development of Measurement & Assessment systems that will become the rule of continuous development.
1-Spreading the measurement and assessment culture, spreading good practise as a method of improving and ensuring the quality of the educational system, and increasing students’ and the external community’s trust in measurement systems.
2- Assisting faculty in developing mechanisms for assessing students and exams in order to achieve true measurement, which leads to improved educational process outputs.
3-Creating question banks within the unit based on current educational assessment theories for a variety of disciplines.
4-Encouraging faculty to use electronic correction systems and tests.
5-Measuring student and academic staff satisfaction with measurement and assessment systems, as well as following and developing them.
6-Measuring feedback from the faculty’s Measurement & Assessment Unit.
7-Preparing trainee cadres from the faculty’s academic staff and assistant body in the Measurement & Assessment field.
8-Promoting scientific research in measurement and assessment methods.
9-Coordinating with the bodies that support the Measurement & Assessment system and its applications in the university, encouraging regional and local participation with educational institutions and similar centers.
