Prof. Tarek Hassan Mohamed, Dean of the Faculty of Energy Engineering; and Prof. Ahmed Thabet, Vice Dean for Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs \u2014 and in the presence of a distinguished group of academic and administrative leaders, faculty members, teaching assistants, and students \u2014 the Faculty of Energy Engineering at Aswan University organized a cultural seminar entitled \u201cNanotechnology Applications in Water Treatment: A Sustainable Approach.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">The seminar, held on Tuesday, October 21, 2025, was led by Dr. Hussein Nubi Badri, Assistant Professor of Materials Engineering and Mechanical Design at the faculty.<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"color: #000000;\">The session began with an introduction to nanotechnology, sustainability, and water science, followed by a discussion of traditional methods of water treatment, and then focused on the use of nanotechnology in water treatment and achieving sustainability in these fields.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">The event concluded with a series of questions, discussions, and active participation from attendees, reflecting the faculty\u2019s commitment to its social role, environmental engagement, and dedication to spreading knowledge and scientific awareness.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Under the auspices of Prof. Louai Nasrat, President of Aswan University;
