{"id":12139,"date":"2025-12-08T08:43:03","date_gmt":"2025-12-08T08:43:03","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/energy.aswu.edu.eg\/en\/?post_type=news&#038;p=12139"},"modified":"2025-12-23T08:38:25","modified_gmt":"2025-12-23T08:38:25","slug":"seminar-in-cooperation-with-the-training-guidance-and-psychological-support-center-at-aswan-university","status":"publish","type":"news","link":"https:\/\/energy.aswu.edu.eg\/en\/news\/seminar-in-cooperation-with-the-training-guidance-and-psychological-support-center-at-aswan-university\/","title":{"rendered":"Faculty of Energy Engineering Hosts Cultural Seminar with Support Center"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">On Sunday corresponding to December7,2025, the Faculty of Energy Engineering organizes a cultural seminar in cooperation with the Training, Guidance, and Psychological Support Center for the university members to fight depression, aggressive tendencies, addiction, and services provided by the Training, Guidance, and Psychological Support Center at Aswan University this is under the patronage of Prof. Loai Saad El-Din Nosrat, President of Aswan University, Prof.Ashraf Imam, Vice President of the University for Community Service and Environmental Development, and Prof. Tarek Hassan Mohamed, Dean of the Faculty of Energy Engineering, Aswan University.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Lectures were delivered by Prof. Medhat Altaf Abbas, Executive Director of the Center; Dr. Fatima Al-Zahraa Mohamed, Head of the Center; and Dr. Zainab Mohamed Hassan, Coordinator of the Center.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Prof. Medhat Altaf Abbas emphasized that this seminar aligns with the directives of President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, as well as the guidance of the Supreme Council of Universities and national leadership, regarding the importance of enhancing psychological support within universities. He explained that the Psychological Support Center at Aswan University provides a range of services and initiatives aimed at promoting students\u2019 mental well-being.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">During his speech, H.E. Prof. Tarek Hassan Mohamed, Dean of the Faculty, welcomed the distinguished attendees and highlighted the importance of such seminars in providing psychological and social support to both students and staff. He stressed that these efforts contribute to addressing the challenges they face and help ensure the smooth progress of the educational process.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Dr. Fatima Al-Zahraa and Dr. Zainab stated in their speeches that the Center aims to rebuild students\u2019 self-confidence and resilience through free and fully confidential psychological support services.
