In a new scientific achievement that underscores the research excellence and international standing of the Faculty of Energy Engineering at Aswan University, three of its faculty members have been included in Stanford University\u2019s<\/span> list of the world\u2019s top 2% of scientists. The researchers are:<\/span><\/p>\n

– Dr. Mohamed Metwally Mahmoud<\/span> \u2013 Electrical Engineering.<\/span>
\n– Dr. Diab Khalafallah \u2013<\/span> Nanoscience.<\/span>
\n– Dr. Gaber Magdy Ahmed Rashwan<\/span> \u2013 Electrical Engineering.<\/span><\/p>\n

This achievement reflects the commitment of Prof. Ashraf Imam Abdel-Radi<\/span>, Acting President of Aswan University, to advancing scientific research, promoting publication in leading international journals, fostering an environment conducive to innovation and creativity, and supporting faculty members and researchers across various disciplines. These efforts aim to enhance the quality and impact of scientific research and strengthen partnerships with international research institutions and universities.<\/span><\/p>\n

Prof. Tarek Hassan Mohamed,<\/span> Dean of the Faculty of Energy Engineering at Aswan University, stated that the inclusion of the three researchers on this international list reflects the Faculty\u2019s ongoing commitment to supporting scientific research and promoting international publication, thereby strengthening its academic standing and visibility within the global scientific community.<\/span><\/p>\n

The ranking of the world\u2019s top 2% of scientists is based on bibliometric data from the Scopus database and incorporates multiple indicators, including research citations, the h-index, and the hm-index, alongside other measures of scientific productivity and impact.
