Dr. Khaled Abdul Ghaffar<\/span>-Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research approved the timetable of students\u2019 union elections for the academic year 2021\/2022 according to the approving timetable by the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research; the nomination door will be opened on November 18 and announced the initial statements on November 21 and appeal requests will be received on November 22 and checked on November 23, while the final statements will be announced on November 24 and the elections propaganda will start on November 25, the elections of the first round will be held in faculties while the selecting and announcing results will be on November 28, and run-off round will be on November 29.<\/span><\/p>\n

Then, the elections of secretaries of the committees and their assistants at the level of faculties will be held on November 30, the elections of students\u2019 union head and his vice at the level of faculties on December 1; students\u2019 elections will end with electing the secretaries of the committees and their assistants and students\u2019 union head and his vice on December 2.<\/span><\/p>\n

Dr.Taya Abdul Latif<\/span>-Advisor of the Minister for Student Activities explained that\u00a0Prof. Khaled Abdul Ghaffar-Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research addressed the heads of the universities to take the necessary measures as; it\u2019s mentioned in the executive regulation, to conduct student elections inside universities, and form a supreme committee to supervise on the electoral process and follow it at the level of faculties throughout the republic, with submitting a sufficient report about the electoral process by each faculty upon the process\u2019s completion.<\/span><\/p>\n

It\u2019s worth mentioning that student elections are conducted according to the decree of Prime Minister\u00a0 No. (2523) for 2017, regarding modifying some articles of the executive regulation of Organizing Universities Law that\u2019s issued in law No. (49) for 1972, also the financial and administrative regulation of student unions in universities issued by the minister decree No. (352) for 2019.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/article>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
