Under the patronage of\u00a0Prof. Ayman Mahmoud Othman<\/strong>, Aswan university president,\u00a0Dr. Hassan Allam<\/strong>, director of Aswan university\u2019s measurement and evaluation center, stated that a workshop was held under the title \u201cExamination Paper Specifications, Good Assessment and Examination Systems<\/strong>\u201d in partnership between the centers Aswan university\u2019s quality assurance and the measurement and assessment. The training was led by\u00a0Dr. Hassan Allam<\/strong>\u00a0and\u00a0Dr. Nady Kamal Aziz Gerges<\/strong>.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0 The workshop handled several axes, including the relationship between the quality of courses, their specification, and evaluation in light of accreditation and quality standards. \u00a0Dr. Hassan Allam<\/strong> added that the workshop introduced the features and types of objective exams and the necessity of including all educational goals:\u00a0 cognitive, affective, and psychomotor. Each objective should be SMART, specific, measurable, achievable, and time-based. The exam must be realistic, fixed, objective and a tool for differentiating between learners. The exam must achieve the features\u2019 table which means covering the majority of the course and its different goals.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0\u00a0Dr. Nady Kamal Aziz<\/strong>, director of Aswan university\u2019s quality assurance center, explained that the workshop handled a brief idea on question banks and their importance in setting objective tests and evaluating them electronically or through e-tests. The workshop was concluded by answering the questions of academic staff and their assistants.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/section>\n
