The opening of nominations and applications for state honors, such as the “Nile Awards,” “State Appreciation Awards,” “State Awards for Excellence,” and “State Encouragement Awards” for the calendar year 2022 is announced by the Academy of Scientific Research.<\/span><\/p>\n

For the Nile Awards and State Appreciation Awards:<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

-The applicant should be nominated by universities, centers, institutes, research bodies, or specialized scientific societies, provided that she has an independent personality and is one of those involved in advanced technological sciences.<\/span><\/p>\n


-The candidates for these awards shall not include any of those in charge of these bodies, the chairmen of their boards of directors, their boards of trustees, or any of the ministers at the time they assumed responsibility.<\/span><\/p>\n


-The candidate has accepted the candidacy, provided that the nomination authority provides evidence of this.<\/span><\/p>\n

As for state awards for excellence:<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

-The aforementioned organizations are eligible to submit nominations.<\/span><\/p>\n

-For one of the state awards for achievement or encouragement, anyone can apply directly.<\/span><\/p>\n

The prizes are:<\/span><\/p>\n

-Nile Prize for Science.<\/span>
\n-Nile Award for Advanced Technological Sciences.<\/span>
\n-Internationalization Appreciation Award in Basic Sciences.<\/span>
\n-State Appreciation Award in Agricultural Sciences.<\/span>
\n-State Appreciation Award in Medical Sciences.<\/span>
\n-State Appreciation Award in Engineering Sciences.<\/span>
\n-State Appreciation Award in advanced technological sciences that serve the fields of basic sciences.<\/span>
\n-State Appreciation Award in Advanced Technological Sciences Serving Agricultural Fields.<\/span>
\n-State Appreciation Award in Advanced Technological Sciences Serving Medical Fields.<\/span>
\n-State Appreciation Award in Advanced Technological Sciences Serving Engineering Fields.<\/span>
\n-Pioneers Awards for one of the senior Egyptian scientists who have outstanding scientific achievements and who are not recipients of the Nile Prize.<\/span>
\n-The Women\u2019s Appreciation Award is for one of Egypt\u2019s top female scientists who have social and economic scientific achievements that have a positive impact on society, the family, women, and children without having received the Nile Prize.<\/span>
\nTaking into account the following:<\/span><\/p>\n

Taking into account the following:<\/span><\/p>\n

A Nile Award candidate who has received the State Appreciation Award must wait five years after the grant year to be nominated for the Nile Award.<\/span><\/p>\n

A candidate for the State Appreciation Award who has received the State Award for Excellence must have passed five years since it was granted to him after the year of awarding, prior to his candidacy for the Appreciation Award.<\/span><\/p>\n

Before applying for the Pioneers and Women’s Appreciation Awards, gentlemen, male, and female candidates must wait five years from the year they received any state award.<\/span><\/p>\n

All required documents and papers, including the candidate’s complete research over the last ten years, must be placed on a USB flash drive, along with a sealed list of those research after they have been presented on the plagiarism program.<\/span><\/p>\n

The submitted research will be presented to the plagiarism program, including the frequency of publication. As of 2010, research that has been published in more than one journal or that has been cited in other research will not be accepted.<\/span><\/p>\n

Faculty members may apply directly to the Academy of Scientific Research and Technology for one of the state awards for excellence, the state encouragement, or the encouraging woman at the following e-mail address:<\/span><\/p>\n
