Over the last decade or so Renewable Energy (RE) resources such as wind, tidal, solar etc. have attracted a lot of attention. However, none of these clean and so called environmentally sustainably RE resources is sustainable from a financial perspective, as they are either too expensive to harness or the energy sources are so intermittent that it is impossible to have a self-sustaining uninterrupted power source.
