all preparatory-year students wishing to enroll in the faculty\u2019s different programs.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><span style=\"color: #993300;\">\u2666<\/span> Students advancing to the first year are assigned to academic departments based on their stated preferences, their overall score (the official aggregate of the preparatory year grades), and the enrollment capacity of each department.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><span style=\"color: #993300;\">\u2666<\/span> The rules for transferring students from one major to another are set by the Department Heads Council and approved by the Faculty Council.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><span style=\"color: #993300;\">\u2666<\/span> The distribution of students across the academic departments is determined in accordance with the number of faculty members and the resources available in each department, with the percentages subject to the approval of the Faculty
