The Council of Postgraduate Studies and Research, led by Prof. Mohamed Abdel Aziz Mohalal Arabi, Vice President of Aswan University for Graduate Studies and Research, met in the presence of the deans of the Graduate Studies and Research faculties as well as Council members.
Prof. Mohamed Abdel Aziz Mahalal, Vice President of the University for Graduate Studies and Research, opened the Council’s work by congratulating the Council members on the occasion of the new Hijri year. May God bless and prosper the Islamic and Arab nations.
The Vice President for Postgraduate Studies and Research stated that the Council approved the announcement of ten scholarships granted by Aswan University to African students enrolled in graduate programs (Master’s and PhD) in the Faculties of Medicine, Engineering, Energy Engineering, and Social Work. This falls under the umbrella of the university’s regional and international responsibilities.
Arabi also stated that the Graduate Studies and Research Sector strives to provide educational opportunities for academically qualified youth, in light of the Egyptian state’s interest in graduating scientific cadres capable of competing in the labor market, fulfilling its role towards its African brothers, and attracting students from various African and Arab universities.
