The Renewable and Sustainable Energy Program at the Faculty of Energy Engineering, Aswan University, organized a student field trip to the Benban Solar Power Project (ACWA Power Company) on Thursday, October 30, 2025, under the auspices of Prof. Louai Saad El-Din Nasrat, President of Aswan University, and Prof. Dr. Tarek Hassan Mohamed, Dean of the Faculty of Energy Engineering.
During the visit, students observed the solar energy panels, electrical current regulators, protection systems, storage batteries, and power transmission units, as well as the solar monitoring software used to track the performance of the photovoltaic arrays. They also learned about professional safety procedures applied at the site.
The faculty administration extended its sincere appreciation and gratitude to the engineers and staff members for their warm hospitality, excellent organization, and the valuable technical explanations they provided to the students.
