Ain Shams University witnessed the opening of Center of Excellence in Energy” in Faculty of Engineering –Ain Shams University, supporting by United States Agency for International Development ; in cooperation with the Ministry of Higher Study and Scientific Research and Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) , aim to enhance the practical research , scholarships and innovations in the field of Engineering.
Jonathan Cohen -American Ambassador -inaugurated the center in presence of Chery Carlin, USAID Mission Director , Dr. Khaled Abdel Ghaffar, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Dr.Mohamed Shaker, Minister of Electricity and Energy; Dr. Sahar Nasr, Minister of Investment and International Cooperation, Dr. Yasmine Fouad- Minister of Environment, accompanied by Dr. Mahmoud El-Matiny President of Ain Shams University, and Dr. Eric Grimson- Advisor to MIT, Ahmed Ghoneim- senior researcher at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
