1. An academic staff is assigned as an academic guide for each group of students (aat least 25 students) to help students adapt to the credit hour system. Those supervisors supervise studying programs for a student, noting his advancement and observing his performance as a part of following the educational process.
2: Students have to get the approval of their academic advisor before choosing a study program before registering for the curriculum per semester.
3: Upon the advisor’s suggestion, a student can delete a course and register for another one within the limits of his studying capacity within two weeks from the beginning of studying for the first semester. A student can also withdraw from a course through the first six weeks without registration in other courses, on the condition that he doesn’t exceed the minimum units that have been studied.
These general requirements apply to all students seeking to obtain a bachelor’s degree. The basic components of a bachelor’s degree are:

¶ Specialized basic sciences: including mathematics, physics, and chemistry.
¶ Engineering courses
¶ Specialized courses
¶ Elective courses and the project: These are the courses that are selected in consultation with the academic advisor.
