Maj.General/Ahmed Ibrahim –Governor of Aswan gave the starting signal for the launching of the environmental day of Aswan University students which was held under the slogan (A day for Egypt)starting from the main entrance of Aswan University to the distinguished languages school at length of (3)Km which aims to plant (1500) fruitful trees ,bougainvillea and ornamental trees as a part of the plan to develop, beautify and plant the airport road up to Aswan Low Dam at length of (10)Km.The proceedings were attended by Prof/ Ahmed Ghallab Mohamed – Aswan University President,Mr. Abdel Nasser Abdel Hamid –Assistant general secretary, vice presidents of the university ,the deans of the faculties as well as a broad participation of university.
Major general/Ahmed Ibrahim thanked Aswan University for this distinct initiative as a positive and honorable model of a serious community participation to contribute directly in reinforcement the executive efforts to develop and raise the efficiency of the airport road to highlight the aesthetic touches for the tourists and visitors to turn it into a cultural spot for the African youth capital.
He praised the large participation of the university students which confirms on their enlightened awareness to develop positive behavior and spread the culture of preserving the environment among all members of society to be a role model to increases awareness ,encouragement and motivation for the rest of Aswan community sects to participate positively in cleanliness and beautification of the governorate .
