Activities of the 2nd International Sports Engineering Forum

Prof. Loai Saad Al-Din Nasrat, Acting President of Aswan University, opened the 2nd International Forum for Engineering Sports. The event brought together academics and experts in engineering, sports, and technology to enhance knowledge integration and exchange experiences in the field of sport.

During his statement at the forum, Prof. Loai Saad Al-Din Nasrat affirmed that Aswan University wants to build integrated educational programs amongst diverse disciplines that stay up with technology updates and strengthen the role of engineering in improving sports performance and buildings; pointing out that this comes as a translation of  the presidential initiative ” New Beginning For Building Human Being” which is launched by H.E. President /Abdul Fattah Al-Sisi-President of the Republic.

The President of Aswan University went on to say that the forum is a strategic platform for launching a joint educational program that combines sports science, biomedical engineering, and energy engineering, thereby improving sports health and developing a knowledgeable generation of sports analysts capable of supporting Egypt’s Vision 2030’s sustainable development efforts.

Aswan University President added, the forum represents a strategic forum to launch a joint educational program links between sports engineering ,medical engineering and energy engineering which contributes to improving sports health and building a knowledgeable generation of sports analysts capable of supporting Egypt’s Vision 2030’s sustainable development efforts.

Dr. Adel Makki-Dean of the Faculty of Sports Sciences, confirmed the importance of sports engineering in improving physical performance and developing sports infrastructure in light of the interfere of engineering fields in various sports disciplines and activities.

Dr. Mohamed Mahmoud, Dean of the Faculty of Engineering, stated that the conference aims to integrate technology and sports to increase the quality of training and development, resulting in a new generation capable of keeping up with modern educational programs.

Dr. Tarek Hassan, Dean of the Faculty of Energy Engineering, emphasized in his speech that mathematical engineering is one of the pillars of applied mathematics and plays a critical role in the development of societies and individuals in light of the world’s incredible technological progress.

Dr.Sherine Khairy-Reporter the Forum, the forum seeks to prepare a strong generation has technical skills and self-discipline to achieve sports distinguish and excellence.

The forum’s activities included scholarly seminars on the integration of sports science and engineering, the development of smart stadiums, and sports performance engineering, as well as practical workshops led by a panel of specialists. The evening closed with the recognition of several successful partners and forum guests.

The seminars were delivered by Dr. Mustafa Jumaa, Vice- Dean of the Faculty of Sports Sciences, Dr. Mohamed Shaaban, Dr. Mohamed Refaat, Dr. Mahmoud Abdel Aziz, Dr. Ahmed Mustafa Awis, Faculty of Energy Engineering, Aswan University, and Dr. Mohamed Esmat. The participants and guests of the second Sports Engineering Forum were then honored.
