Prof. Ayman Mahmoud Othman, Acting President of Aswan University, stated that within the framework of the state’s keenness to translate Egypt’s Vision 2030 for comprehensive development; The College of Fisheries and Fisheries Technology organized a “training course” under the title “Managing Fish Farms” over two days, which dealt with discussing the economic feasibility of fish farms, and managing the quality of fish farm water.
Prof. Ayman Mahmoud othman added that the training course dealt with health procedures for handling and caring for fish, and the training course concluded its effectiveness by presenting the project of exploiting the desert in integrated farming.
Dr. Salah El-Din Fikry El-Saei, Dean of the Faculty of Fisheries and Fisheries Technology, stressed that this course is the first of a series of training courses that will address various important topics in the field of fisheries as a serious step to spread the culture of fish farming in Aswan Governorate, while providing technical support and advice to young people. To establish farming projects as well as educate fishermen about the correct practices and provide guidance and guidance to all those interested in the field in Aswan Governorate. The inauguration of the course was witnessed by Prof. Ayman Mahmoud Othman, and the activities of the training course were concluded in the presence of Dr. Salah El-Din Fikri Al-Saei – Dean of the Faculty – and the faculty representatives and trainees, then they took souvenir photos.
