On Thursday, the committee of selecting deans at Aswan University headed by Prof.Ahmed Ghallab Mohammed -Aswan University President has been held, the membership of Dr.Ayman Osman-Vice President for Postgraduate Studies and Research, Dr.Ali Kaml Khalfallh- the former dean of the faculty, and Dr.Aaron Abdel-Fattah Sheikh-the former Head of the Physics Department.
Dr.Ahmed Ghallab said they conducted interviews to select the candidates for the deanship of the faculty of science, the committee listened to the plans of developing the performance; as well as the suggestions and ideas of those who apply for the deanship of the faculty and the vision of each applicant for developing the faculty whether from the educational or research or social side.
Dr.Ahmed Ghallab pointed out the care of the university on selecting the deans of the faculties according to specific standards and with entire neutrality, indicating the ones who apply for the deanship:
Prof. Atef Ibrahim Abdel Kader – the current Dean of the College
Prof. Mohamed Abdel Moneim Raslan – Vice Dean for Student Affairs and Education
Prof. Alaa El-Din Salah El-Din – Vice Dean for Graduate Studies and Research
Prof. Ayman Al-Ameen – Head of the Physics Department
Prof. Abo Al-Hamad Hassan Mohamed – Head of the Department of Chemistry
Prof. Ahmed Rashad – Head of the Department of Mathematics
Prof. Eman Abdel Radi – Professor at the Department of Chemistry
While Aswan University includes (20) faculties and institutes and the Faculty of Science is considered one of the oldest faculties at the University.
