In Memory of the Late Dr. Abdel-Moneim Mohamed Abdel-Rahim: The Faculty of Energy Engineering Organizes a Football Tournament
In a heartfelt gesture of loyalty and appreciation for the memory of the late Dr. Abdel-Moneim Mohamed Abdel-Rahim, the College’s Vice Dean for Education and Student Affairs, and under the patronage of Prof. Dr. Loay Saad El-Din Nosrat, President of Aswan University, and Prof. Dr. Tarek Hassan Mohamed, Dean of the Faculty of Energy Engineering, the Faculty organized a football tournament among the different academic years.
The tournament aimed to foster a spirit of belonging, teamwork, and cooperation among students. This year’s event carried a special meaning, as the championship cup was dedicated to the memory of the late Dr. Abdel-Moneim Mohamed Abdel-Rahim – may his soul rest in peace – in honor of his distinguished contributions and sincere efforts in serving the Faculty and its students.
The competition showcased remarkable sportsmanship and exemplary ethics from all participating teams, amid an atmosphere filled with enthusiasm and camaraderie among the students.
At the conclusion of the tournament, the University President and the Dean of the Faculty presented the Dr. Abdel-Moneim Mohamed Cup to the second-year team, in the presence of faculty members and students, who expressed their deep appreciation for this noble and meaningful initiative.
