The Faculty Council of the Faculty of Energy Engineering at Aswan University convened on Tuesday morning, January 13, 2026, under the chairmanship of Prof. Tarek Hassan Mohamed, Dean of the Faculty, and in the presence of the Vice Deans and Heads of Departments.
During the meeting, the Council discussed a proposed Memorandum of Understanding between the Faculty and the Aswan Water and Wastewater Company, along with a number of issues related to faculty members, students, and postgraduate studies. The Council also approved the establishment of the Faculty’s Strategic Planning Unit.
The Dean stressed the smooth and orderly conduct of examinations at the Faculty, within the framework of continuous follow-up of examination procedures and strict adherence to the approved regulations. He also reviewed with the Council members the Faculty’s preparations for the commencement of the second semester.
At the conclusion of the meeting, the Dean extended his sincere thanks and appreciation to the staff of the Renewable and Sustainable Energy Laboratory for their kind hospitality in hosting the Council meeting, which was held in the Laboratory’s meeting room this month.
