The students of the Centre of Excellence in Energy participated in a variety of activities and visits during the summer training, which was entirely funded by the center and included students from three universities: Mansoura University, Ain Shams University, and Aswan University, with the goal of improving the capacity of Egyptian higher education institutions and stimulating innovation, modernization, and competition. In the energy industry, as well as advocating for the government’s policy to encourage economic growth and address Egypt’s energy concerns.
There were two sets of students in the training: one trained on hydraulic power plants and systems, and the other on solar power plants and systems. (Electricity generation site from Aswan station 1_visiting the Benban solar power station twice)
