In line with the directives of Prof. Loay Saad El-Din Nusrat, President of Aswan University, emphasizing the importance of continuous monitoring of the examination process, Prof. Tarek Hassan Mohamed, Dean of the Faculty of Energy Engineering at Aswan University, accompanied by Prof. Mohamed Fathy, Vice Dean for Graduate Studies, and Dr. Mohamed Roshdy, Head of the Examinations Committee, conducted an inspection tour on Saturday morning, January 3, 2026. The tour aimed to follow up on the progress of the first-semester examinations for the Mechanical and Electrical Engineering departments for the 2025/2026 academic year.
During the tour, His Excellency confirmed the smooth functioning of the examination committees, the availability of a calm and appropriate environment for students, and full compliance with the rules and regulations governing examinations. He stressed the importance of providing students with suitable and comfortable conditions, treating them with respect, and ensuring equal opportunities inside the examination halls. He also affirmed that all necessary legal measures are being taken to prevent any attempts at cheating, thereby safeguarding the integrity of the examination process.
His Excellency reviewed the examination papers, noting the number of questions, their comprehensive coverage of the course content, alignment with course objectives, and suitability to the allotted examination time. He highlighted that the examinations are conducted using an objective question system and in accordance with the approved technical specifications, enabling the assessment of varying levels of student performance.
Prof. Tarek Hassan also listened to students’ feedback regarding the nature of the questions and praised their discipline and commitment to examination regulations. Furthermore, he commended the dedication and presence of faculty members, teaching assistants, floor supervisors, and examination control staff, emphasizing that their commitment plays a vital role in maintaining order and ensuring the smooth conduct of the examination process.
