With hearts that believe in God’s will and destiny, Prof. Tarek Hassan Mohamed, Dean of the Faculty of Energy Engineering, Aswan University, mourns with deep sorrow and grief Prof. Ahmed Omar Hashem, a member of the Senior Scholars Authority at Al-Azhar Al-Sharif, former President of Al-Azhar University, and one of the nation’s leading scholars of Hadith and Islamic preaching.
The Faculty extends its sincere condolences to Al-Azhar Al-Sharif, Al-Azhar University, his esteemed family, his students, and his loved ones across the Islamic world. We ask God Almighty to bestow His vast mercy upon him, to reward him for his knowledge with the best reward, to admit him into His spacious gardens, and to place him with those upon whom God has bestowed favor: the prophets, the truthful, the martyrs, the righteous, and excellent are those companions.
