The Faculty of Energy Engineering, Aswan University, organized a cultural seminar entitled “How to Conduct an Effective Lecture” on Tuesday, December 9, 2025.
The seminar was held under the patronage of Prof. Loai Saad El-Din Nusrat, President of Aswan University; Prof. Ashraf Emam, Vice President of the University for Community Service and Environmental Development; Prof. Tarek Hassan Mohamed, Dean of the Faculty of Energy Engineering; and Prof. Ahmed Thabet, Vice Dean of the Faculty for Community Service and Environmental Development.
The event was attended by a distinguished group of academic staff members, administrative leaders, teaching assistants, and students, reflecting the faculty’s commitment to fulfilling its societal role, serving the surrounding community, and promoting the dissemination of science and knowledge.
During the seminar, Dr. Walid Ahmed Abdel-Fadil, Lecturer at the Mechanical Engineering Department, delivered an outstanding presentation highlighting the importance of defining clear lecture objectives and communicating them effectively to the audience. He also addressed the essential elements for delivering a successful lecture, common pitfalls to avoid, and the key factors that contribute to an engaging and valuable learning experience. The seminar concluded with active audience participation, followed by an open discussion and a question-and-answer session.
