The Faculty of Energy Engineering at Aswan University took part in the First Agricultural Exhibition, organized by the Faculty of Agriculture from March 30 to April 1, 2026, at the Sahari campus of the Faculty of Agriculture. The exhibition was held in cooperation with the Agricultural Crops Unit, Aswan Directorate of Agriculture, the General Syndicate of Agricultural Professions, the Chemical Industries Company (KIMA), the Arab Academy for Science, Technology and Maritime Transport in Aswan, and the Lake Nasser Authority, in addition to several sponsoring and supporting companies.
The President of Aswan University emphasized that organizing this exhibition reflects the university’s commitment to community engagement and its dedication to supporting agricultural innovation, as well as translating scientific expertise into practical applications, thereby contributing to sustainable development—especially in light of the major national projects currently underway in the agricultural sector.
Prof. Tarek Hassan Mohamed, Dean of the Faculty of Energy Engineering, noted that hosting the First Agricultural Exhibition aligns with a comprehensive vision aimed at enhancing the role of scientific research in addressing agricultural challenges and providing innovative solutions to increase productivity and improve crop quality. He added that the exhibition witnessed remarkable participation from the Faculty of Energy Engineering, which showcased agricultural machinery developed in its workshops, namely TAQA1, TAQA2, and TAQA3. These products received great admiration from visitors, who expressed their interest in producing additional machines to meet their needs.
