Under the auspices of Prof. Loai Saad El-Din Nasrat, President of Aswan University, and Prof. Dr. Tarek Hassan Mohamed, Dean of the Faculty of Energy Engineering, the faculty organized a student meeting for the academic year 2025/2026 on Monday, November 3, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. in the faculty’s seminar hall.
Following the playing of the National Anthem of the Arab Republic of Egypt,
Prof. Loai Saad El-Din Nasrat, President of Aswan University, delivered a speech in which His Excellency praised the educational process within the Faculty of Energy Engineering and commended the administration’s efforts in launching the Renewable and Sustainable Energy Engineering Program. He also wished success to all members of the faculty.
In his address, Prof. Dr. Tarek Hassan Mohamed, Dean of the Faculty, welcomed both new and returning students and wished them continued success. He affirmed his commitment to enhancing the educational process across all departments of the faculty.
During the meeting, a special tribute segment was dedicated to the late Prof. Abdul-Mumin Mohamed Abdul-Rahim — may God rest his soul in peace and grant him His mercy. The Dean and Prof. Mohamed Fathi, Vice Dean for Postgraduate Studies and Research, recalled his noble qualities and unforgettable moments that left a lasting impact on everyone who knew him.
The meeting concluded with an honoring ceremony for the top distinguished students from various academic years for their outstanding performance during the 2024/2025 academic year.
