On Thursday, October 1, 2026, the Faculty of Energy Engineering at Aswan University hosted an introductory seminar in its seminar hall to introduce students to the activities and programs of the IEEE Aswan Branch. The event attracted students interested in technology and engineering.
During the seminar, the Chair of the IEEE Aswan Branch provided an overview of the branch’s activities and initiatives, highlighting the technical and scientific resources available to students, as well as subsidized training courses designed to enhance their engineering expertise, develop their professional skills, and prepare them for the job market.
To encourage innovation and teamwork, the Branch Chair urged students to establish a dedicated robotics team to participate in the branch’s annual robotics competition. This initiative would provide an opportunity for students to advance to regional and international competitions and represent Aswan University on broader platforms.
The seminar also featured an interactive discussion, during which the Branch Chair answered students’ questions about membership, ways to benefit from training workshops, and the support available for innovative student projects.
