Prof.Ahmed Ghallab –Aswan University President praised the the Egyptian-Chinese laboratory for the new and renewable energy researches which are opened today in the headquarter of the center of the development of the Upper Egypt Region that is related to the Scientific Search Academy Qaram Island Sohag in attendance of Prof.Khaled Abdel Ghafar –Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Search, Col. Dr.Mohamed Sayed El –Aisar- Minister of State for Military Production, Dr. Ahmed Al-Ansari, Governor of Sohag.
Ghallab confirmed this laboratory is considered new addition in the field of new and renewable energy in Upper Egypt, and we hope to make joint and distinguished cooperation between Aswan and this new laboratory during the next period.
He explained Aswan University includes Faculty of Energy Engineering which is considered a unique and pioneer in the energy fields in Egypt, and presents the best chances of education and scientific searches and technical consults for community services and the environment with a level equal to international quality standards also Aswan includes the biggest project of nuclear energy in Benban village that includes 40 solar stations that will produce 2000 MW equivalent to 90% of the energy produced from the High Dam.
