Dr. Ayman Othman-Aswan University President inaugurated the works of the council with expressing congratulation to President Abdul Fattah Al Sisi-President of the Arabic Republic on the occasion of the new year, Aswan University Council offered its thanks and appreciation and best wishes to the political leadership on the occasion of the visit of Aswan governorate and the honoring of His Excellency adds joy and pleasure to Aswan people and opening several of national projects.
Major General/ Ashraf Attia-Aswan Governorate stressed the importance of the president’s visit to Aswan governorate which beautified and oriented to welcome His Excellency and the governorate gained several benefits through the visit as opening the national projects in Aswan governorate that benefit Aswan citizen and governorate from real sustainable development especially carrying out the Visual Identity Project which makes Aswan governorate one of the most important tourist destinations in the world.
Major General/ Ashraf Attia stressed the importance of university’s role as it’s expertise house in the various engineering, medical, scientific, and research fields; Aswan governorate witnesses a big development in the infrastructure such as roads” Al Samad Road” that will finish in a time duration through 8 months and several of roads are full of swing in the governorate that will transfer to its natural position as the Capital of Culture and Economy and African Arabic Youth; the infrastructure is considered one of the most important elements that attract the investment to the governorate.
Dr. Ayman Othman-University President pointed out that the preparations of the university to conduct first semester exams according to the time plan and time schedule that the Supreme Council of Universities approved them for the current academic year 2021/2022 on 13 January 2022 to finish the first semester in the universities. The studying was launched in 2021/2022 on the last 9 October, it’s decided to last studying in the first semester for 14 weeks and the first semester will end in the current 13 January.
Stressing His Excellency on applying precautionary measures from wearing medical masks and taking into consideration social-distance in the committees, measuring temperature, and another precautionary measure that preserves the safety of students and the university staff against Corona Virus.
