The Faculty Council of the Faculty of Energy Engineering at Aswan University held its regular September meeting today, Monday, September 14, 2026, chaired by Prof. Tarek Hassan Mohamed, Dean of the Faculty, and attended by the Council members and department heads. The meeting addressed a number of important academic and administrative matters.
At the outset of the meeting, Prof. Tarek Hassan extended his sincere congratulations to the Council members, faculty members, and administrative staff on the occasion of the new academic year, wishing everyone a successful academic year filled with further achievements.
In this context, the Dean announced the launch of the Faculty’s Public Service and Technological Innovation Center, emphasizing that the Center represents a strategic step toward promoting innovation, strengthening the link between scientific research and industry, and providing high-quality technological and consultancy services. He further explained that the Center aims to develop scientific solutions to the technological challenges facing the industrial sector, in addition to expanding its activities to include the design, implementation, and production of specialized electromechanical energy projects, as well as the maintenance of industrial machinery and equipment.
The Council then proceeded with its agenda, reviewing matters related to faculty members and their academic assistants, as well as performance reports and operational plans for the Faculty’s various sectors. These measures are intended to ensure the Faculty’s full preparedness to welcome students at the beginning of the new academic year.
