Prof. Tarek Hassan Mohamed, Dean of the Faculty of Energy Engineering at Aswan University, met with Dr. Mohamed Roshdy, Director of the Renewable and Sustainable Energy Engineering Program, along with the program’s administrative team, to review and evaluate performance during the first semester.
During the meeting, the Dean emphasized the importance of teamwork and fostering a strong spirit of cooperation among the program staff in order to enhance overall performance and ensure the program’s continued success.
The meeting also addressed the program’s preparations for the second semester, as well as the opening of applications for freshmen holding higher qualifications who meet the announced admission requirements, starting in January 2026. The program places strong emphasis on practical training, both on and off campus, and is supported by advanced, specialized laboratories and a highly qualified academic staff.
For his part, Dr. Mohamed Roshdy highlighted the growing demand for enrollment in the program, noting that it is unique among universities in Upper Egypt in the field of renewable and sustainable energy. He added that the program follows a credit-hour system and accepts students who have completed secondary education (Science–Mathematics division) through the University Admissions Office, in addition to applicants holding higher academic degrees, in accordance with specific admission conditions.
