
Under the leadership of Prof. Loay Saad El-Din Nasrat, President of Aswan University, the university signed a tripartite cooperation agreement between the University Career Development Center (UCCD), Al-Bargisi Group, and Ultimate Academy. The agreement aims to support efforts to prepare students and graduates for the evolving demands of the labor market, in line with the directives of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research and the objectives of the presidential initiative “Be Ready.”
The initiative focuses on enhancing practical and professional skills, improving graduates’ competitiveness at both regional and international levels, and supporting the state’s vision of building globally competitive human capital.
The signing ceremony was attended by several deans of Aswan University faculties, representatives of the business sector and company owners, as well as a delegation from the Faculty of Energy Engineering, including Prof. Tarek Hassan Mohamed, Dean of the Faculty; Prof. Mohamed Fathy, Vice- Dean for Postgraduate Studies and Research; and Prof. Mohamed Shaaban, Head of the Mechanical Engineering Department.
Prof. Loay Saad El-Din Nasrat stated that the agreement represents a successful model for integrating academic education with practical application, helping to provide real training and employment opportunities for students and graduates. He added that the university continues to adopt initiatives that foster innovation and develop students’ skills to meet the requirements of both local and international labor markets.
Prof. Tarek Hassan emphasized that investing in human capital is the foundation for preparing a generation equipped with the skills required by today’s labor market. He noted that this partnership will provide modern training programs aligned with market needs, while also enhancing young people’s capabilities to qualify for high-quality employment opportunities and reduce the gap between academic outcomes and practical application.
He further explained that the agreement comes within the framework of the center’s strategy to expand partnerships with leading institutions in order to provide integrated services, including training, career guidance, and connecting students with employment opportunities. He affirmed that the center operates according to a clear vision aimed at enhancing graduates’ employability.
The event also witnessed the signing of several direct employment contracts for a number of graduates, reflecting the seriousness of the cooperation and the achievement of tangible results on the ground.
