Commitment to Intellectual Property Rights and Copyrights
The Faculty is committed to safeguarding intellectual property rights and copyrights in postgraduate studies and research, in accordance with the Intellectual Property Protection Law No. 82 of 2002, as well as the Intellectual Property Policy of Aswan University.
To promote awareness of intellectual property and copyright protection, the Faculty implements several official procedures, including:
♦ Raising awareness of intellectual property rights and publication ethics through training courses included in the Faculty’s official training plan for academic staff and their assistants, as stated in the Faculty’s Core Values Document and Code of Professional Ethics (Attachment 2/5/1).
♦ Promoting a culture of respect for intellectual property among students by emphasizing the proper citation of scientific sources in research submissions and providing clear guidance on how to avoid plagiarism.
